Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA). Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) with the prestigious 2022 TIA 3PL Congressional Leadership Award for his leadership and commitment in promoting the US Senate’s Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Pilot Program Act.

Fulton Bank announced the addition of Kristen Walch as the new senior vice president and director of the Healthcare Banking Group. In her role, she will oversee banking operations for for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare organizations with revenue in excess of $20 million in the New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia markets.
Welch brings 18 years of leadership experience working with healthcare providers and payers to evaluate banking solutions including taxable and non-taxable finance, capital markets, equipment finance, treasury management, revenue cycle management, liquidity solutions and institutional investing. Before joining Fulton, she served as senior vice president of healthcare for Bank of America and PNC Financial Services.

Welch graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a BS in Finance. It is actively developing in the Maryland and Virginia/DC chapters of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Beebe Healthcare welcomed the cardiologist Praveen George, MD, to his medical staff. dr George treats patients at the Clinic By The Sea and performs procedures at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes campus.
dr George received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. Following the specialist training, Dr. George completed his Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology fellowships at the University of Texas Southwestern.
He specializes in interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
“I am delighted to be here in Sussex County to provide excellent cardiac care to the community,” said Dr. George. “As part of the Beebe medical staff, my patients have access to the latest technologies and all of Beebe’s caring staff.”
Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County announced the appointment Jason Patton as vice-president of its board of directors. Patton is the new Head of Community and Business Development for Chase Bank’s Northeast Division.
Patton brings leadership skills in strategic planning, financial health, experience design and marketing. Patton is an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion and is committed to providing businesses and nonprofits with guidance and thoughtful solutions to address DE&I at all levels, from the internal C-suite to entry-level staffing and external audiences, products and/or Services.
Patton’s career at Chase has spanned more than 15 years and he has held positions as head of cross-line of business partnerships and customer experience, as well as key roles in channel marketing, product management, digital and operations strategy. Prior to his career at Chase, Patton worked at Wells Fargo in product development and experience design. Jason holds an MBA in Global Management from LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. He is an avid traveler and volunteer at this local church.

Parrish is known for her public service as the founder and CEO of Delaware Angels Inc. and her advocacy for numerous charitable organizations including the American Heart Association, Turn the Towns Teal and Action for Delaware’s Children. She comes to BRRT with knowledge and experience in many areas, including the state of Delaware’s environmental service.
“I am excited about BRRT’s mission to restore the Brandywine River and educate the community and future generations about its unique and fragile ecosystem,” said Parrish. “I look forward to serving my community with a great team in this new role!”
Parrish’s previous work as legislative advisor to Senator Stephanie Hansen, chairperson of the Delaware Senate Environment and Energy Committee, includes managing the many projects, legislation and all aspects of the Senator’s office. Jenn has seen countless projects from concept to execution. She was instrumental in the development of what later became the SB 22; where she compiled data on native, non-native, and invasive plant species sold in Delaware for the Ecological Extinction Task Force. Notably, she also served as chair of the Senate Volunteers Committee and led many initiatives that benefited communities across Delaware, including community cleanups and humanitarian work. Parrish’s experience also includes working with Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long, as a staff member for the Delaware Family Law Commission, as a clerk at the University of Delaware College of Nursing, and as a substitute teacher.
Tara Trappe, Pasquale Krawitz & Bhaya, Partner at Doroshow, was elected President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association for the 2022-2023 term at the DTLA Annual Meeting in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Bustard is a graduate of James Madison University and Widener University School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. In addition to Delaware, Bustard is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Georgia bars. Bustard began practicing law at the firm in 2003 and became a partner in 2012. She is active in the areas of personal injury and employee compensation for plaintiffs.
Bustard is involved in her community and the Delaware Bar and is active in the Randy Holland Workers’ Compensation Inn of Court, the Delaware State Bar Association Workers Compensation Section, the Delaware State Bar Association Women and Law Retreat Committee, and serves as Vice President of the Swedesboro School District PTO. Recently, as pictured (second from right), Bustard attended the signing of HB 277 and the SAFE bills package by Governor Carney on behalf of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, which would provide stronger protections for public school students from sexual abuse by public school employees offers, e.g. as a teacher or trainer.
Bustard looks forward to serving as President of DTLA this year and advancing the goal of protecting injured Delawareans by working with trial attorneys and other members of the bar, communicating with the public and our representatives, and promoting beneficial legislation.
Beko Home Appliances James Herschman as the new area sales manager for eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Hershman, a resident of Blackwood, NJ, and a 20-year sales management veteran of kitchen and laundry appliances, will be responsible for growing the Beko and Blomberg brands in eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. He will work with home retailers, buying groups, designers, architects, planners and builders to communicate the health, sustainability and other product benefits of the Beko Healthy Kitchen.
