Makeup artist Rae Sacha shares the beauty products she actually swears by.

If you’re into fashion, chances are you’ve seen Rae Sacha’s beautifully refined artistry in hundreds of glossy photographs. Sacha has been professionally painting faces for over a decade and has honed her craftsmanship with some of the biggest names in the business.

I’ve seen Sacha up close a few times and can confirm that she looks professionally flawless – her skin is glowing, but in a more velvety, less disco ball-esque way. And those brows – obviously blessed with great genetics, but they’re perfectly groomed.

Her makeup kit is stocked with enough products to make any beauty lover green with envy, but Sacha’s personal approach to makeup is minimal, and maximizing time is essential.

She sticks to a more elaborate skincare routine, but likes to take her makeup off at night – a rare indulgence for this busy freelance makeup artist and full-time student. Here are the cornerstones of their daily routine:

Forea LUNA 3 cleaning device, $336

I’ve been using this cleansing device since 2017. It gently pulses on the skin and helps remove dead skin and makeup. I especially like that it leaves my skin bright and glowing after each use. The tool doubles as a face massage and on the days I have a little more free time I like to apply my oils and serums and massage the product into my skin.

Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, $43

I have one of these for my makeup, my purse and on my bedside table. This is by far my favorite non-greasy hand balm. I enjoy the notes of rosemary and citrus leaves which are refreshing and subtle for frequent use.

Kosa’s Revealer Concealer, $47

I have yet to find a concealer I love more than Kosas. A staple of my professional and personal makeup kit – I mix shades six and seven for myself. The formula itself is lightweight and offers medium to medium to full buildable coverage. It also contains caffeine that energizes under the eyes and helps eliminate puffiness and promote microcirculation for the eye area.

Comme des Garcons Wonderwood Perfume, $229

My everyday scent. I love the earthy and woody notes, my favorites include cedarwood, oud, cumin, bergamot and sandalwood. This is such a luxurious scent without being overpowering.

Murad Vita-C Glycolic Brightening Serum, $189

Containing L-Ascorbic Acid and Glycolic Acid, this combination is much needed for my olive skin that tends to get dull and uneven easily. The consistency is light, which goes perfectly with my morning skincare routine and doesn’t interfere with the way my makeup sits throughout the day.

K18 Molecular Repair Mask, $135

To restore my natural curl pattern and help with heat damage, K18 is a four-minute leave-in treatment that claims to repair and reconnect broken polypeptide (keratin) chains in hair. I’ve been using this consistently for the past few months and have noticed that my hair is softer, less frizzy and has a lot less hair fall.
