How to make a no-roll cucumber sushi roll
A recent TikTok video by @eva.koper shows how to make sushi using cucumber instead of seaweed sheets as a base. First, Eva Koper cuts off the two pointed ends of the cucumber and then splits the fruit in the middle, creating two small logs. Next, she scoops out the inside to create a cavity before placing white rice, avocado, imitation crab, fish, and carrots inside the pickle.

Next comes what is arguably the most impressive (and our personal favourite) part of this recipe: how she cuts the buns. Koper shares her ingenious shortcut for sushi prep — she simply slices the pre-stuffed pickle into bite-sized slices, about half an inch thick.
