APPLETON — The Lightning defense held the Patriots for 85 total yards and forced two crucial turnovers en route to the Fox Valley Association victory at Paul Engen Field.

Appleton North mustered 199 yards of offense, 108 yards on 21 Jack Robinson rushes, including a 36-yard touchdown run for the game’s lone TD.

KAUKAUNA — Osvaldo Soto Sanchez’s 25-yard field goal with less than a minute left helped lift the Ghosts past the Cardinals in exciting fashion.

Noah Hofmann had 295 yards on 35 carries and three touchdowns for the Ghosts (4-2, 3-1 Fox Valley Association).

Tanner Dalske had two touchdowns for Fond du Lac, including a 70-yard run that gave the Cardinals (3-3, 2-2) a 28-27 lead in the fourth quarter.

Sanchez also had field goals from 39 and 22 yards earlier in the game.

Neenah 42, Oshkosh North 20

OSHKOSH — The Rockets and Spartans traded blows in the first half, but Neenah quelled Oshkosh North’s offense after the break to walk away with the win.

Neenah’s ground attack was too much as the Rockets snapped up touchdown runs of 65, 57, and 15 yards courtesy of quarterback Evan Vanevenhoven and running back Jase Jenkins. Grant Dean added a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown and snagged a Vanevenhoven pass from 27 yards for his second goal of the night.

The Spartans opened the scoring on their first drive with a Quintin Fisher touchdown catch from Hunter Carlson. The Oshkosh North quarterback threw another touchdown pass to Drake Moxon in the second quarter and then ran 47 yards before halftime for another trip to the end zone on the floor.

MENASHA — Enock Mulungula rushed for 101 yards with eight carries to lead the Bluejays to victory over the Redwings.

Menasha, leading 40-0 at halftime, had 240 rushing yards and 102 passing yards and rushed 56 plays compared to 30 for Sheboygan South.

Sheboygan South mustered just 32 yards on total offense.

LITTLE CHUTE — Charlie Vanden Burgt threw five touchdowns, including a pair, against Hunter Thiel in the Mustangs’ win over the Foxes at Fitzpatrick Field.

The win put Little Chute up 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the North Eastern Conference. The FVL fell back to 5: 1 and 3: 1 in the league game.

Vanden Burgt finished with 278 yards and was 10 of 15 on tries. He had hits for Tyler Fischer (41 yards), Caden Kerrigan (86), Hunter Thiel (28, 24), and Cal Maronek (79).

Jack Egan scored FVL’s only touchdown with a 3-yard score in the fourth.

WEYAUWEGA — The Falcons scored the game’s final three touchdowns to rally and defeat the Warhawks, where the two teams totaled 961 yards of offense.

Amherst rushed 375 yards while Weyauwega-Fremont rushed 239 yards and passed 253 yards.

Matthew Glodowski rushed 165 yards for Amherst while Jake Derezinski rushed 111 yards and Nasiah Holland added 99 yards.

For Weyauwega-Fremont, Kameron Zielke passed for 231 yards and rushed for 198. Brayden Arndt caught 10 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns.
