Hazeltree Appoints Kevin Held as Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK & LONDON & HONG KONG–(BUSINESS WIRE)–hazel treea leading provider of treasury and liquidity management technology to the alternative wealth management industry, today announced its appointment Kevin Held as the company’s chief financial officer. Held comes to Hazeltree with over 30 years of finance experience for multiple high-growth companies, ranging from early-stage startups to established companies in the fintech, technology, SaaS and financial services sectors.

Prior to joining Hazeltree, Held was CFO of Vehlo Purchaser, a provider of SaaS solutions to the automotive repair industry. At Vehlo, he was involved in the acquisition and integration of seven companies and grew the finance/accounting practice to support the 14 companies in the company’s portfolio.

Held will report directly to Hazeltree’s CEO Tuschar Amin.

Held also served as CFO for AlphaPoint, a provider of cryptocurrency exchange solutions; TradingScreen, a SaaS-based provider of liquidity, trading and investing technology for the financial world; and Liquidnet, a global institutional brokerage and software development firm.

During his early career, Held worked with a variety of boutique broker-dealers and investment firms. In these roles, he worked to drive operational, financial and general business improvements to new and existing processes and infrastructure, including systems implementation, improving analytics and reporting, establishing and enhancing controls, and establishing corporate governance.

He holds an MBA from Adelphi University in New York and is also a CPA.

This appointment follows several C-level appointments at Hazeltree. In August, the company named Sonia Spicehandler as the company’s first chief people officer, Sandy Weil as chief revenue officer in June, and Tushar Amin as CEO in April.
