“You will see a lot of movement! It’s like coming to see a crab. There is a lot of moving back and forth. I’m also a storyteller so together with my Irish flute it makes a great yarn with lots of animal and Irish references!”

When asked where the name Jonbers Blonde came from, this queen had a funny story to tell. She said: “One night I was at my friend’s house, dressed smartly, and I was coming down the stairs and my friend’s father looked up from his newspaper and said, ‘Jonbers, if you look like this, you’re going to be very lucky to have! ‘ and since then, Jonbers has just stuck!”

Fans of the show are excited that it’s coming to our screens in just two days. Each week, contestants will face challenges that will put their dragging skills to the test.

They have the ultimate goal of not ending up in the bottom two, lip-synching their entire lives, and facing elimination. The Queen of Queens, Mama Ru, of course, has the final say on who ends up prancing or Shantays.

Each week, RuPaul will be joined on the judging panel by Michelle Visage, a Special Celebrity judge, and alternately by Graham Norton and Alan Carr!

Will you be tuning in to BBC Three this Thursday night to see County Down drag queen Jonbers Blonde compete in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK this year?
