PVH Corp. announced that Sara Bland will join the company on October 31 as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Strategy Officer.
Bland will join PVH’s leadership team, reporting to CEO Stefan Larsson. She comes to PVH from Kontoor Brands Inc., where she was EVP of global strategy and was responsible for growth and corporate strategy, consumer insights, innovation platforms and key transformational projects.
PVH is one of the world’s largest fashion companies with brands such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
Burberry announced that Julie Brown has informed the Board of Directors of her intention to step down as Chief Operating and Financial Officer effective April 1, 2023 at the end of the company’s current fiscal year.
Brown will be leaving Burberry after six years to pursue an opportunity outside of the luxury industry. The process to determine her successor is underway, the company said.
Childrenswear brand Hanna Andersson announced that Callie Canfield has joined the company as Chief Brand Officer.
Reporting to newly appointed CEO Aimée Lapic, Canfield will oversee all integrated marketing plans for the online retailer and lead efforts to build brand awareness and reach a broader consumer base through outreach, influencer marketing, social media, and creative strategy and execution.
Most recently, Canfield was director of brand marketing and public relations at Anthropologie Group. Previously, she was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at David’s Bridal.
Hanna Andersson’s products are designed for children aged from newborn to 12, with a complementary range of family clothing.
Nike Inc. announced that Mónica Gil and Bob Swan have been appointed to the company’s board of directors.
Gil is Chief Administrative and Marketing Officer for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. Swan is an operating partner at Andreessen Horowitz and a former CEO of Intel Corporation.

Destination XL Group Inc. announced that James Reath will join their team on September 26 as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Reath most recently served as senior vice president (SVP) of marketing at Bed Bath & Beyond and as SVP of marketing at Macy’s Inc. He will replace Ujjwal Dhoot, the current CMO, who informed the company that he will be stepping down effective October 11, 2018. 11.
Reath will receive a $200,000 sign-on award in Restricted Stock Units, granted on October 7th. Executive search firm Kirk Palmer Associates assisted in this search.
