BYD Partners With Inchcape To Bring Its EVs To Belgium & Luxembourg

BYD has ramped up electric vehicle production and opened new manufacturing facilities in China, and recently also announced plans for new plants outside of China. Through intelligent partnerships with local companies, BYD brings electric vehicles to the world. The work that BYD is doing really deserves praise. Every new electric vehicle helps to increase the market share of traditional internal combustion engines, and we need as many electric vehicles as possible to reach all markets as quickly as possible. BYD has just completed another important strategic partnership with Inchcape, a leading independent global multi-brand automotive retailer. Inchcape has been appointed BYD’s sales and aftersales partner in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Inchcape will leverage its established presence in both markets. Inchcape, together with BYD, will provide an online and offline network for both sales and after-sales service. The first retail experience center will open in Zaventem, Brussels in October, giving customers the opportunity to experience BYD vehicles and their advanced technology.

This, combined with Inchcape’s industry-leading capabilities in data, digital, technology, cyber services and localized market knowledge, will further support customers as they familiarize themselves with the globally established passenger car brand, BYD.

With nearly 30 years of experience in battery research and development, BYD is known worldwide for its pioneering technology and innovations in total e-mobility solutions spanning transportation including electric buses, trucks, vans and passenger cars. BYD is the only NEV manufacturer that has developed its own power batteries, electric motors, motor control systems and automotive semiconductors. This advanced technology, which includes the ultra-safe Blade battery, is at the heart of BYD passenger cars en route to Belgium and Luxembourg. The offer includes the high-performance, high-tech sedan BYD HAN; the seven-seat all-wheel drive SUV BYD TANG and BYD ATTO 3, an expressive and dynamic C-segment SUV developed for the European market and based on BYD’s innovative e-platform 3.0.
