ExperTec Automotive has won the hearts of Orange County residents six years in a row. This family business began serving the communities of Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa in 1993. Today, both locations are managed by President Roy Daneshavke, Vice President Gary Frahm and General Manager Gary McMann, as well as several qualified service advisors, assistants, and technicians.

Like other garages in the area, ExperTec offers a variety of general repair services ranging from everything under the hood to tires and headlights. ExperTec not only offers its customers exemplary service, but also maintains close relationships with the community.

“The more we serve our community… the stronger we become!” – a bold statement proclaimed boldly on the company’s website, is nothing short of the truth. ExperTec is committed to supporting the development of the surrounding community by participating in various charity and fundraising events. Mission Viejo Transmission is no ordinary repair shop. It has become popular due to its well-received community event Girls in the Garage. Owner Kevin Hurley was originally approached with the idea by Cheryl Carrera, a local realtor. Carrera took interest in the dealership’s repair team giving eight of their customers an educational demonstration on how to perform simple vehicle work, including fluid level and tire pressure checks.

“The idea took off from there,” says Hurley on the company’s website. “But we had never hosted an event like this before – so we were skeptical about how successful it would really be.”

The event has since grown into a hit in the community, attracting more than 8,500 women since its debut. Guests can look forward to the opportunity on the first Wednesday of each quarter.
