Backyard Signs Vic Huber for US Representation


Backyard Productions welcomes Vic Huber to US representation. Thoroughly versed in all aspects of automotive production, Vic has photographed and produced for a variety of respected brands including Mercedes, Toyota and Ford.

After a long career in commercial still photography working on high profile advertising campaigns such as Charles Schwab, BMW, American Airlines and Northrup, Vic made the seamless transition into film production. After falling in love with the possibilities of the medium, Vic began vigorously pursuing commercial projects both as a cinematographer and later as a director. Since then he has worked with talented directors such as Pete Chatmon, Billy & Brett and Mouse McCoy who have helped him hone his craft.

Vic’s passion for visual storytelling is evident through his impressive portfolio of work in the automotive world. Shooting high-performance cars on city streets or winding racetracks, Vic approaches each project with the same deep passion and enthusiasm, delivering truly successful productions.

Having recently been awarded an exciting project with Mercedes-Benz USA to launch the new generation C-Class for the US market, Vic was tasked with producing a 6 minute video brochure featuring the new vehicle as well as a 6 minute running footage to create role of this latest model. In addition, Vic compiled a library of promotional stills for each of the three individual models in this project, infusing his deep love of stills into his film production.

Striving to push his creative boundaries, Vic has also directed several short documentary films. Most recently “Gus Alva | Paradigm+++Mas’, has received acclaim at numerous film festivals and was selected as an Official Selection for the 21st Annual Newport Beach Film Festival. The film introduces the work of emerging Mexican-American artist Gus Alva and shows how he draws artistic inspiration from the South Los Angeles neighborhood where he was born and raised.

Vic is currently in post-production on his first narrative short film, Implied Consent, which he wrote and directed.
